We patch straw mats by using a skewer shown in the above left
picture. Finally, we make 4 large straw mats used for left, right,
front and back of Dekayama. All of our member patch mats. For
patching work, we use a hemp cord.

In order to attatch them to Dekayama, we use straw cord. When
finish to make, we store these large mats by rolling. As you can
see, this mat is very large compared with a human size.

Next step, we prepare Ooteko. It is stored in a pond.
