2003.1.1 - Make Rice Cake

A Happy New Year!!
The ??st Rice Cake Party are started!
As every Korean family have Kimchi maker, we have Rice Cake maker
in every family (?). Especialy, in Hokuriku area, Rice Cake party
will be held here and there. This party is very special because we
use old toold "Kine" and "Usu" which are used to cook rice
cake. We make rice cake by human power not by machine.

Adults, children, students preparing for an entrance examination
and aged person attend this party and make rice cake. A fresh rice
cake is cooked as "Zouni" which is a special new year dish, and is
offered to visitors. On this day it is very cold, so some person
eats 6 dishes. And we are very sorry that chopsticks are out of
stock. But some person eat by hand ;>.

Owe to every visitor, we could end this performance at 3 o'clock
without any dishes. As you know this performance is not well known
because it ends within a few hours. If you have some time and
chance, please visit and enjoy with us. After this performance we
held a sperical party with alcohol. We make friendship via a glass
of beer, sake and so on. If you have some trouble with this party,
please forgive us.

As a extra gift, the picture of Shrine maiden is presented
here. Thanks to maiden because it was very cold at 0
o'clock. Maybe there were 2 persons... Sorry to the other, I
forget to take picture.
